  • Swimmers will be assigned to group levels based on coaches recommendations.

  • All swimmers must have a current full-privilege YMCA membership.

Did you know...

  • WCAY Marlins coaches emphasize the growth of the swimmers - in technique, in character and in teamwork
  • Winter swim meets are typically on Saturdays.
  •  It takes a many volunteers to run a meet and many swimmers to allow the team to do its best. Make sure you and your swimmer are at every single meet.
  • You and your swimmer should stay for the entire meet - to swim, to cheer, to be part of the team!

Program Goal:

To encourage fair play, to develop the whole person and encourage fitness for life. 

Swim Meet Reminders:

  • Be on Time!!!
  • Volunteer - the meets are more fun and go faster!
  • Bring towels (to keep dry and to sit on) and a sweat suit to stay warm.
  • Remember goggles and suits for practice and meets!
  • GOOD BEHAVIOR AT MEETS IS REQUIRED. You represent your team and yourself
  • If you are not with the team when it is time to swim, YOU WILL NOT SWIM!
